meeting Lana Del Rey.

so on that day i actually saw her twice. the 1st time was when i waited outside a pre-award show charity dinner & ppl who were there bfore me told me Lana was still inside. so i waited for her & when she came out she didnt sign anything but just quickly got inside a black van/minibus. maybe cause there were a few paparazzis there. i just took a brief video of her walking past me. (recently i found out mr marilyn manson was /w her & he also appears in my video. #random) so i wasnt able to meet her. the next day was the day of the german music award show ‘Echo’. i was on the red -actually violet- carpet hoping to score some autographs+photos with the invited guests/performer. when Lana came it was a little crazy cause Katy Perry,Jason Mraz,Christina Perri & a few other celebrities were all 2gether on the carpet. so Lana signed stuff for the ppl standing left of me. a few persons bfore me she just changed carpet side. she was now on the other side,more or less in front me (still a bit far away though). me (&others) kept screaming for her cause we wanted her to come. her assistant noticed my screaming and maybe the fact that i had her album ‘born to die’ in my hands, ready for her to sign. a friend of mine kept screaming after her. her assistant told us ‘one minute’ with his hands. when i noticed Lana was finished, i screamed her name. she turned around! & while keeping on LOOKING INTO MY EYES (i’ll never forget that detail) she walked across the whole carpet towards me!! i gave her my album booklet to sign. she tried with my pen but it didnt work. she said ‘sorry,it doesnt work’. meanwhile -i orginally wanted to tell her ‘your album is epic,you have a huge talent’ i just managed to tell her ‘your album is great’ she said ‘thank you’. i told her ‘you have a lot of talent’ she sincerely thanked me. i asked for a pic with her, she put her HEAD SIDE BY SIDE with mine!
she signed some stuff of a person next to me,but i still needed my booklet signed, so i just held it to her (she had another pen at that moment) and she signed it.. as she was back standing in front of me i told her one last thing ‘i really hope to see u live one day’ she, once again, thanked me sincerely. this last time it was even more sincere. i could read it into her eyes.
she kept on signing other stuff, noticed katy perry & stopped signing (one of my friends just got a lana DEL signature.. hahahaha). they talked for a few seconds then Lana went inside the award show location where she later performed her hit ‘video games’.
now, i already heard ppl saying she is very nice bfore that day. BUT it is NOTHING like meeting her in person. she just -is- one of the nicest celebrities out there. she’s the kind of person u want as a permanent friend. the way she was thankful to me, the way she is thankful to all the ppl who appriciate her+her music..its UNIQUE. seriously, i was (still am) MOVED by her kindness. she is far more than down to earth. she is thankful. thankful, i believe, for whatever she gets from life. that is something incredibly rare in human beings. i can say for me, that i hardly met such human beings. and i -will- tell her that the next time (soon i hope) i’ll get to meet her. she’s the sweetest.
fuck the hype. fuck (/like or dislike) her music. she’s a pure human being. she’s Lana Del Rey.

well, its was very hard to choose a track to upload. i said it bfore, this might be the starting piece to the best albums of the year - a potentially big album. so since i just finished listening to it (yes,it leaked), i can now officially confirm its a HUGE ALBUM. Lana is musically confirming that all the hype about her is worth it. & while listening to this track i had the feeling ,never had it bfore, that we are all assisting to the birth of a **MUSICAL LEGEND**. believe it or not. but remember my words.
